Aside from the hand holding, this game is completely underrated.

I'm surprised Sony lets you play Nintendo games on their televisions.

It was pretty damn cool IMO. I think the negative opinions mostly centered around the controls. Still, I liked it. Haven't beaten it though.

You've gotta beat it. It has one of the best LOZ endings in the entire series, in my opinion.

It was a bit cool in the beginning, but it quickly went over for my part.
It just became tedious after a while.

Plus the controller de-synced on me all the time and didn't do what I was saying to it.
I was like "OMFG WHY WONT YOU HIT IT LIKE I WANT IT TO!" and stuff.

The bug-catching net can be a pain to use w/ the motion controls, and I personally didn't like dowsing w/
    the sword!

This one is my favorite Zelda game of all. It has the best story of all of them. Love the gameplay, too. I'm not a fan of the impressionist art style, but I did like the colors.

It has the best ending. In my opinion, the only way they can top that ending is when they make the last Zelda game to finish it all.

I had a lot of problems with the bug catching net at first. But then somehow I figured out I was doing it wrong, and it got a lot easier. I don't remember what the trick was, though.

It got about half way through it, maybe more, but lost interest when I got stuck in a temple. I also got my Wii U around that time and moved on to my Wii U games like ZombiU.

My favorite Zelda game as well. The motion controls can be frustrating at times, but I love the combat with them. The bosses were kind've neat, too.

If the textures were clearer or rendered on a better system and the game started in Hero Mode then this would have been my favourite Zelda....but at least it's my 3rd favourite.

Yeah, I guess you're right. The soundtrack helped a lot too.

I was one of the people that didn't like this one. Swordplay became boring quick and I had to push my self to play as much as I did.
Yeah and the remote need calibration every 5 minutes was seriously annoying.

I played once to the end and got sidetracked by Wii U and never beat it. I thought Skyward Sword was tedious the first time through but recently did another playthrough. I liked it better the second time and now it's probably in my top three Zelda games.

Definitely going to pick this up after I get some wii u games. Do you really need both or can I use a wii pro controller? Either way I'm getting it but not being able to just lean back and relax to play a game is something I'm not looking foreword too.

You need a wii motion plus and a nunchuck, you can't use any other control scheme if I remember correctly

The game has a great story but the hand holding is tedious at moments, but I did enjoy the game and finished it. Maybe I'll try hero mode someday.

As many have said, the game is fantastic and the controls can be annoying.

I honestly didn't hate the controls, you get used to them and it becomes a moot point.

The controller kept de-syncing on me as well and that was ****ing obnoxious.
