Is that really surprising? I've been known to purchase new titles more than 4-5 years after release. In fact, I'm still purchasing software (albeit pre-owned) for platforms like the Atari 2600, NES and SNES from time to time, despite those platforms being long discontinued.

If black label software (e.g. not 'Greatest Hits') is still readily available for a competitive price -- like AU$10-20, not AU$80-100, Nintendo -- I'd be willing to purchase it regardless of how old it might be.

I'd imagine they are selling pretty well used as well. If you aren't picky about cases, GS usually has a decent selection of Wii games. Sure, there is crap to wade through, but getting Dragon Quest Swords, Battalion Wars 2, and other really solid if not high profile games really cheap is awesome. Hell, I bought 3 GC games last week for about $5 total.

Would a Termina Link or a Skyloft Link be okay?

No, but maybe an Internet Link would work.

Haven't heard of him. Maybe he'll be in the new Zelda.

He was going to be the main character in the fourth CD-i Zelda game... Too bad people didn't recognise and appreciate greatness of the first 2 titles.

It makes sense. There are some people who never bought a Wii but invested in a Wii U. With the console being backwards compatible, people are finally able to play all the popular titles they may have missed. (And there are constant Wii U software droughts!)

I just realized that there are many games for Wii I have never played. Now that Wii U is out, are there games I am missing from Wii that I should pick up?

The prices on Wii games are dropping right?

I want The Last Story, but that one is starting to get pricey. Is Pandora's Tower any good?

    how about Manhunt 2.

    Or Kirby.

    Or something else?

    What about Fragile Dreams?

I feel like I am still missing out on some good games with this system.

I have two Wii's I use mainly for Netflix and Hulu. But I also have them upstairs so when the kids come over they can leave my Wii U alone!
