    Dragged out my Wii ...

and rediscovered how much fun Mad World is! I set up my Wii on my bedroom tv alongside the PS4 and Xbone, and now my Wii is getting all the late-night playtime: Mad World, Manhunt 2, Overlord: Dark Legend, Xenoblade (I'm trying it for about the 4th time - I always get distracted, forget what I am doing, and have to restart), Little King's Story, Madden 07. Well, maybe not Madden 07. And the visuals aren't half as bad as I remember them to be. I'm going to run out and pick up House of the Living Dead: Overkill tomorrow 'cos it was so much ridiculous fun to play. Almost as much as Mad World.

I'm a little sad, though, that all online connectivity is pretty much toast. I'd like to play some Call of Duty on it.

That and all the WiiWare games are pretty much dead men walking; I cannot imagine there are too many sales there anymore. It's rather depressing.

It's a fun console. Yeah, they should "clearance" those Wiiware titles or have some kind of sale. There are some pretty interesting titles like World of Goo (which is pretty awesome from what I played), and Lost Winds. Also, they don't even sell those 2000 points card to be able to download them anymore.

Wii has a ton of hidden gems. If you don't have these already, I recommend you get Zack & Wiki (puzzle), Sam & Max (point & click), Punch Out, Rhythm Heaven Fever and A Boy and his Blob.

COD was pretty fun on the Wii, with no kids screaming at you and saying the stuff they say on other consoles.

It shall live on like a parasite, though the Wii U's backwards compatibility.

Soft mod that bad boy and screw the the WiiWare.
I have all the GOOD NES and SNES titles on mine plus some good Homebrew stuff. Still a lot of life and enjoyment in the Wii.

I would like to soft mod it (playing Phantasy Star Online online), but don't have an idea to do it, and I have a few concern

    1. can I still play gamecube games?
    2. Can I still have my save on it and not be "destroyed"
