Not only will I keep mine going, I have a factory sealed one in storage and a spare touch screen and WiFi module to repair my gamelan should it break.

Still a fully working, never repaired, day one system.

    Demand more.

People are too complacent these days. Brawl had an adventure mode, why not Four? You pay more but get less? No sir!

Nothing to do with being complacent. Like I said 4 is superior to Brawl in every way other then a story mode

Sounds just like mine then... except that it wasn't a day one system and I've repaired the GamePad one time myself, but still

I guess being from New Jersey your definitions of quality differ from mine.

I think that is where the Xbox is headed, and I think after this gen it's where PlayStation is headed as well. I still wish Sony would pull a Microsoft with the PS5 and start adding PS1, PS2, and PS3 games to their system through backwards compatibility. It's why I can't give up my Xbox, there's too many games I still want to play. BC is definitely a highlight of PC, but as we all know savinghyrule and I are in a console cult and the only way out is through death.

Obviously be skeptical because it's Nintendo, but they're in a great position to do the same thing too. The fact that they're using (and will probably stick with) the Tegra means BC will be super easy going forward.

I'm a prepper. I buy spare parts if I want to be sure. I have extras of most of my small appliances in the basement. I have a 6 month supply of food (non-refrigerated stuff). My Wii U will live for eternity! (Did I mention I even back up my Wii U external HD with a second drive in case the one hooked up dies? ^_^)

    Mine is hibernating.

I continue to collect for Wii U, so I'll never pull the plug on it.

You should try it, I'm not gonna say it's the best game ever but it's semi-unique in one regard and it is quite the experience.
I would definately recommend it if you're in to that sort of stuff

Makes me wonder if it'll ever come to the Switch. I'm sure I just raised drew's heartbeat a tad.

Eh maybe, it's already on PS4 and XBOX One and assuming it sold decently on those platforms I don't see why not.
Easy way to recuperate some of the costs and earn a few dollhairs more.

Smash 4 is such an overload of content, and everything that it shared with Brawl is so much more well designed. But the main point is there's literally 500% more stuff than in brawl. It's superior.

Not in every regard though. In some ways it’s a step back. And a lot of the new content is simply padding or you have to pay extra to get it.

Not enough (*cough* any) pictures of Wii U's being killed by hammer hitting. Killing isn't what it used to be. A DYING art 'pmsl'

Once they announced Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (my favorite Wii U game! ) the Wii U was officially disconnected and put away. I didn't box it up mind you, it's simply in the awesome-sauce travel case for easy access if I want to get it back out...but it's not looking likely.

The Switch + PC now take up 90%+ of my gaming time, even though I love my Sony exclusives. The new Xbox One S I got myself at Christmas? It's errr....still in the box in front of me as I type this.

The portability aspect of the Switch has really been a game changer more so than I had even expected. (which is saying a lot since it has, for me, always been viewed as a portable system lol)

I don't like selling things, but everything I want to play on mine is usually better on Cemu, so I might sell one of mine at least.

Speaking to Cloud on the weekend i actually said i was thinking of going back. With the VC and Mario Maker, Botw is there and Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 64 seems like it makes more sense to me to have it over the Switch.

In the 90s I had about a dozen big box PC games - I really wish I'd kept them.

Back to selling a Wii U - I just donte understand why anyone would do that when it has the Wii library too. If only it could play GameCube without any trickery that's too complicated for me to do, then in spite of its faults would actually be the best console of all time if you could play all 3 libraries on it. I guess for some you actually can.

I was more interested in the occult storyline with John Dees. It was sort of like the Conduit where they referenced real life people but just went further with it.
