    Wii U Problems

Hi, my friend has had problems with his Wii U for about six months now, and I was wondering if there is a way to fix it without sending it into Nintendo. It turns on, but there's no display, and it doesn't read discs. Sometimes it just randomly turns off as well. I don't think he's done anything to it that would cause this, but is there a way to fix it?

Without knowing what's going on and what's been tried it's hard to say.
Try unpugging the Wii U for a few and check the cables, I dunno.
It could be a lens issue if none of the discs will read

He's going to have to send it in. Have him call Nintendo's customer service department. I suppose you could unplug the power cord from both the Wii U and the wall for a few minutes to reset the power supply, then plug it all back in and try it out. But I doubt if that will fix it.

I agree with Lincoln Log on this matter. Apparently Nintendo customer service is pretty good, so it should be relatively painless and might even be free of charge.
