Question System Memory Error 160 0103 after not playing?

So a long time ago I purchased a Wii U, and it was pretty good, but I got bored of it fast. I put it back in the box and originally planned to sell it, but I never got around to it and now, after a very long time (maybe around 7 months I'm not sure) I want to play it again and get into it. However, I set everything up how I remembered and it all seemed correct, and my game pad worked fine, it was just when I planned to sell my Wii U, I wiped everything so that it would be a new experience. So once I tried to get my TV to show the instructions to set it up again, it gave me system error 160 - 0103. I've read solutions on updating in system settings or other things but I cannot get into the Wii U menu because I need to use the TV to show these symbols for me to even access the Wii U Menu! Is there anyway I can resolve this or is it officially dead?

    Thanks!

Have you tried Nintendo's customer service? They're usually much less of a pain in the ass than other companies' CS calls.

^This. Contrary to popular belief, we are not in any way affiliated with Nintendo Customer Service
I doubt anyone here can help you with that.

    - I saw six men kicking and punching my mother-in-law. My neighbor walks over and says, "Are you going to help?" I said, "No, six should be enough." -
