    Sony launches “Greatest Hits”

Sony has launched the “Greatest Hits” line once again, this time named “PlayStation Hits”. This means you can find select PlayStation “hits” for $20. I used to love seeing those as a kid for PS1 games, but I didn’t even know what it
    meant lol.

I'm not sure how long it usually takes for Sony to introduce a budget release line, but 4.5 years in seems somewhat late. They're not for me anyway since I'd much rather have original releases than these. A few of these have complete editions with the DLC that are arguably better than these re-releases too (Bloodborne, Mortal Kombat X, Project CARS, Shadow of Mordor, Watch Dogs).

It's also worth noting that the PAL regions have a different line-up:

Death, a true collector would have both the original and the greatest hits version.

It is a good selection, though.

Some people do go for all variants, but that's not for me. I'm only interested in games with unique content on the disc. If these were the only way to get DLC on disc or maybe even later patches on the disc, then I might actually be interested in having them (the budget re-release of Mafia II is the only way to get the DLC on disc on PS3 for example).

It's a bit late for Greatest hits I think.

Most of these can be had for under $20 because of their age.

Forever, or until they sell out (if that happens). This is a new line, so these games will start out at $20 and won’t be more than that.

For anyone who's been looking to pick up Yakuza 0, this would be a good time. Game's been $60 ever since it came out. Other than that, I don't see anything super outstanding. I've got all the games I'd have been interested in (Bloodborne, MGSV, etc.)
