Mega Man X Collection for Nintendo Switch

Just announced today was Mega Man X Collection.

Again with it being split into two portions? Also, the new boss battle mode looks nice! It will arrive on July 24th.

I know it's not new but this looks like a really good fit for the Switch. Not only that it looks really good too!

I found it stupid that it separate the series...even the collection on gamecube had all 1 to 6...with battle&chase ( a racing game)
I just wonder...if it will be the SNES or CD version of MMX3.

games I'm playing : Lufia I, Etrian Odyssey 4, MH4U, Kamidori Alchemy Meister

This is great but, as with the previous collection, there's no reason to split this into 2 collections other than...money.

As long as X through X3 are the SNES versions and I have the option to turn off voiced dialogue, I may enjoy it.

... Oh who am I kidding, only X through X3 are even worth playing. The SNES versions.

I wonder if it's going to be like the Megaman Legacy Collection where Part I is cartridge and Part II is download only? These games are so tiny that I just don't understand splitting them up like that. They'd all fit on an 8Gb or 16Gb cart easily. ...unless CAPCOM just bloated them up needlessly?

It is. Part I is on the card and Part II is a download code on Switch. They're on separate discs on PS4 and Xbox One, even though both would fit on a single Blu-ray, so it's basically just that Capcom chose to build two separate games instead of either building one containing all eight games or building a third version just for the retail releases so they could all be on one card/disc.
