    At least $300-$350.

Here's my reasoning of what I believe the price of the Wii U could possibly be:

Well i would say 300-349 euros because it has to be more expensive than the 3ds so... Ya that is my guess

Yes, nice thinking. But I think it's more, cause they realy try to take down the price. No DVD, no 2 tablets. All cause of the costs. The price have to be hight if they want to spare on that.

$/€300 - 349. It should cost enough, they come with a controller so it can't be cheap. But I don't think Nintendo will go over $/€400 after their loss with the 3DS. So yeah, somewhere around there I think.

Nintendo has historically tried to keep their tech affordable as the market was for family gaming. I don't see them going the route of the initial PS3 release as they know that it is near impossible to sell mom and dad on a 600+ dollar system. This might be the one time they break even or take a loss on the systems sold aside from the 3DS. Who knows they traditionally have always made profit on systems sold so it is anyone's guess. I think anything over 400 would really be pushing it for Nintendo at this point. The tech is not dramatically ahead of the PS3 and 360 although it is newer tech it isn't the newest so some savings can be had there, but the big thing to remember is when you are mass producing thousands of items the per unit cost tends to drop some so there may be some wiggle room for them in that area.

I've been guessing the 300-350 range for a while. I really don't see it being more than $350, and if it is, I'm only willing to spend up to $400 on it. Anything over $400 would be outrageous and '3DS-like price drop' all over again. 400 can succeed if they package a real game (not a Wii Sports type) with it. Probably with Mario or Link in the game.

I think it's pretty likely to expect something in the $300-350 USD range, as TN stated above. It wouldn't be $250, the launch price of the original Wii/3DS, because the tech is much more advanced. But, to stay at competitive prices, the console couldn't be any higher than the $350 USD range, possibility $400 at most, but that's unlikely. I'm hoping that it'll be on the cheaper side...

I predict a basic set for $299 with 8GB of storage, white in colour; a deluxe edition for $350 with 32 GB of storage, a game called NintendoLand as a pack in, and is black and colour.

Eventually the basic edition will be discontinued and the deluxe will become the standard edition and drop in price to $300 permanently where they will bundle it eventually with Mario Kart 8 and never put it on sale.

    Just a hunch guys.

And they will definitely lower the price to around $250 with a pack-in game before their next console releases.

All that batch of early posters didn't come over from the merge. Too bad. I don't know if they were Android people, or what. But this is beyond a dead topic.
