Nintendo’s first amiibo-exclusive adventure is launching this week on the Nintendo eShop for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Called Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge, the game is compatible with every single amiibo that has been released so far, but core characters like Mario, Yoshi, and Bowser all have special abilities to make traversing the levels easier. The game will be available as a free download, but anyone who purchases a retailer from GameStop, Amazon, or Best Buy will receive an early access code to begin playing the game immediately.
