One of the favorite past-times of Nintendo fans is putting their favorite old games in modern, new engines. Unreal Engine seems to be the most popular, as a few years ago we got to see what Metroid might look like in the Unreal Engine. This time, it’s a glance at Ocarina of Time and Donkey Kong 64.

CryZENx has been working on these Unreal Engine displays for a while now, showcasing what our old favorites could look like with a new set of modern, graphics. Obviously, the stylistic choices in some of the footage for Donkey Kong 64 feels out of place with that world, but it’s still nice to dream about a world where 3D platformers do look as nice as these.

At least we still have Yooka-Laylee to look forward to later this year.
