As promised at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, Disney has released a new trailer for Disney Infinity 2.0 showcasing the villains that will be available in the game. Both Loki and the Green Goblin round out appearances from already available movies, while Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy round up the final villain.

Aside from several new characters being introduced in the sequel to last year’s popular game, several new changes to toy box mode are being included as well. The set building tools from the first game were too linear according to the game’s developer, which is why procedurally generated structures like castles and pirate hideouts can be built in Disney Infinity 2.0 simply by selecting the size of the structure you want to build after selecting the template.

Disney Infinity 2.0 will be releasing for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, as well as other platforms this holiday season.

If it wasn’t for the whole Skylanders gimmick i’d play the crap out of this game and the first one. It looks like it could be alot of fun.

Agreed, I hate buying extra stuff for games, I just want to buy the game once.

That’s why you should buy KH3

I’m the kind a person who’s room gets cluttered very quickly and easily. So I try to keep everything I have to a minimum. Maybe if you could get new characters and stuff through DLC I’d go for it.

Skylanders is awesome. Some of the most fun I’ve had, gaming, AND collecting. It’s a cool combo.. Expensive, but, what isn’t….

I’ve always heard it was a great game and I don’t doubt it but i’m not big on collecting stuff other than games..
