Today Disney has confirmed Disney Infinity 2.0 will be subtitled Guardians of the Galaxy and will be bringing its Marvel characters into the fold. While the game will be available for all major platforms, traditionally these games have been more popular on Nintendo consoles. So what are you in for if you decide to invest in Disney Infinity 2.0? Here’s a small taste: Star-Lord & Gamora are included in the playset package, but Rocket, Groot & Drax must be purchased separately. Every character design is based off of their movie design with the exception of Drax. Kid Nova is fully compatible with the GoTG playset, despite being from the Spider-Man playset. There’s a power disc to turn the toy box into Knowhere. Cosmo, the telepathic Russian space-dog from the comics is in the game as well. Star-Lord and Rocket have voice changes since their appearance in other sets. Will you be purchasing this playset to add to your Disney Infinity collection? local_offer Disney Infinity guardians of the galaxy Nintendo wii u stars Further Reading F-Zero X gets updated on Wii U to fix control New Zelda Breath of the Wild trailer and game Super Mario Maker Wii U vs 3DS comparison (vi Get Ocarina of Time on 3DS for only $14 New teaser site for Zelda: Breath of the Wild released How to track NES Classic Mini stock in time for Christmas The Clockwork Being I’m excited for the movie. And yet I’m not sure if I’m more excited or nervous about it. I mean Marvel franchises have been killing it on the big screen of late, but a more light and humorous approach to the storytelling has me wondering a little. I want it to be another really well made superhero flick. That’s all… 🙂 kwvin Need a away for phones to switch back to full website. Cheers 😀 Mike I’m still a little confused: is this a sequel or just a massive update to Disney Infinity? 00EpicGamer00 It’s a sequel. Source (I know, it’s big bad Wikipedia, but I’m pretty sure they’re right on this one): http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Infinity:_Marvel_Super_Heroes_(2.0_Edition) Mike Thank you. It’s honestly hard to tell with that kind of title… CJSaikoro7493 You kidding me? They still have playset limitations!? That’s it not buying. Knowing the Characters without playsets, often the best ones, will be limited to the Toy Boxes again makes it feel like a ripoff. 00EpicGamer00 I know just how you feel. I loved it when Disney released Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas. But when I saw he didn’t have a playset; he was just a character for the toy box…..I was pretty upset. To say the least. How came Disney never released a Lion King play set? Does Disney hate money? Lol. Vorpal Blade Rocket Raccoon and Groot sold separately? Boooooooooo. Still looks good, I might buy. Joseph Oliveira Next up! Disney Infinite 3.0: Starwars.
