Yesterday, Capcom announced a new game collection that features the classic NES games from Disney Afternoon cartoons like Duck Tales, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, and Rescue Rangers. The sad part of this announcement was that it’s not coming to Nintendo Switch for now.

A fellow Nintendo fan disappointed with this news tweeted the developer Digital Eclipse to ask if the game would surface on Switch at a later date. Digital Eclipse promptly replied and said, “there’s always a chance, let Capcom know you want it.”

The funny part about this exchange is that Capcom should know that this sort of collection belongs on a Nintendo console. That’s where it started for these games, so why wouldn’t their remakes appear on a Nintendo console? Not to mention, when compared to sales of DuckTales Remastered, Nintendo buyers were far more likely to buy the game.

Capcom, you know your audience. This game belongs on Nintendo Switch. Let’s make it happen. If you want to let Capcom know you want this game collection on the Nintendo Switch, you can make your voice heard by tweeting @Capcom_Unity and politely asking them to consider a Nintendo Switch version of the game. Their Facebook page is Capcom-Unity.
