Darksiders 2 wii u
Darksiders 2 will be a launch title for the Wii U, THQ recently announced. So far only a handful of launch titles have been confirmed for the Wii U, including Assassin’s Creed 3 and Ghost Recon Online. We can now add Darksiders 2 to that list, as publisher THQ announced that it will be available at launch for the Wii U this holiday season. Darksiders 2 will be released this summer on the other consoles (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360).

Darksiders 2 is an action-adventure game, where players get to play as Death himself, who’s on a quest to restore mankind. The game will be released on June 21 on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, and later this Fall for the Wii U. It’s uncertain what kind of special features the Wii U version will include.

So does this mean we have confirmation that WiiU will be launched this fall? Dang! I was hoping they would make a big presentation a E3 and then cap it off with an announcement that it was available to purchase at the show and would be at retailers everywhere within a week. Alas, that much excitement might give me a heart attack and I suppose I would like to be alive to enjoy my new console.

what happened to wii being a kids game. i sell in the electronics dept of 0ne of the biggest retailers of kids toys and when i read the forthcoming of the wii u and the games associated with it i was completely turned off. the words death and wii should not be associated in any way . what a bunch of crap. especially not as a launch. mario and luigi pokemon kirby cooking mamma all the games people (parents associate with the wii. when people ask for a console geared for kids it’s always been the wii or nintendo ds. but not with games like your saying going to be the launch title.

That’s cause the Wii U isn’t just a family console, it’s everyone’s console. Nintendo wants to remind people that it can pull off hardcore and mature titles. Nintendo actually used to have the most powerful systems of the generations, prior to the release of the first xbox. The Wii was the only less powerful, casual console by Nintendo, so this is Nintendo saying that they can, and will, do it all

Lorie. The Wii has Resident Evil and many other games like it.. that aren’t what you describe Wii to be geared towards. Another huge example would be No More Heroes.. so choose another argument since there’s more than just “kid/family friendly” games already out there on the Wii 🙂

The kid’s games made for the wii were what made it fail. the Wii u is going to be a console for core gamers
