One of the unique aspects of Ubisoft’s upcoming Child of Light is the co-op feature. We haven’t seen much of it up until now. From the video we see the co-op player takes the role of Igniculus, a blue ball of energy that can assist the main player on their journey. This approach takes inspiration from Mario Galaxy co-op, where the second player doesn’t have a character of their own, but rather aids the main character. Players who play Igniculus can illuminate hidden areas, and even heal the main character after damage. It’s a unique look at two player gameplay and should make for a great experience. Child of Light is releasing on April 30 on the Wii U eShop. local_offer child of light Nintendo ubisoft wii u wii u eshop stars Further Reading Consumer council in Europe alleges Nintendo i Ubisoft has more plans for the Switch HyperTallih Can’t wait to see more it’s amazing. Wooopigsooie Fantastic looking game really. Anyone who refuses to buy this “because it’s Ubisoft” is just plain stubborn. Also the Wii U version I would expect to the best as secondary type characters work very well w/ the gamepad. Sylux That Music, damn it’s so nice and relaxing. However, it seems to me it is kinda repackaged Rayman. Similar 2D and even some enemies behave similar.
