Today Capcom announced that people who purchase the DuckTales Remastered physical edition heading to retailers on November 12th will have a special surprise waiting for them. The game will be arriving on Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360, but those who purchase a copy at Target will receive a Scrooge McDuck pin.

Keep in mind that this deal is exclusive to Target, so if you’re planning on getting the retail release for Wii U you’ll need to pick it up there.

What’s with the downvotes? Because the price? You don’t downvote someone because they give you the truth.

It’s a fun game… nostalgic for sure… the kids love it…. that being said, I’m not 100% sure it was worth the $14.99 I paid for it digitally let alone $19.99 for a physical copy… seems kinda silly.

    • Ducked

What do you mean? A $20 game isn’t worth it?

    • baelnic

I paid $40 for it in the NES days and it was worth every penny.

  • Christopher Acuna

Gah dangit! The nostalgia and love for Duck Tales makes me want that Pin. Seriously, this show was such a huge part of my life as a kid, I may just buy this even though I have the digital version lol.

  • Ducked

Yes! I was just about to pre-order this at GameStop earlier today but decided not to. So glad I waited, I’ll be getting this for sure!

Can I see what the pin looks like?

    • Ducked

Wait, do they mean pin or pen?

        • Ducked

          I’m kidding lol

  • Ducked

The pin might look like this

  • andrewjcole

I thought they meant “PIN” as in pin code until I read the comments. I feel smart now…

  • mch

    Nostalgic and very tempting!

I’m still burned about the “Castle of Illusion” promo that wasn’t, to my mind, even promoted where you got a digital copy of the ORIGINAL Castle of Illusion for Genesis. The problem is, by the time I’d heard of it the promo was over and they have said that it will never be available for purchase.

They really should consider offering the classic NES emulation along with the download as a promotion. I’d gladly buy that, but the “upgrade” isn’t worth it to me, since it just doesn’t feel right to play it in anything but 8-Bit format.
