Tony Swatton has been a blacksmith for 30 years and recently he’s started producing a YouTube series where he smiths famous weapons from movies and video games. In the above video, Swatton takes on the challenge of smithing the Master Sword. It’s an entirely interesting process and the final product looks great. AAAkabob WANT Ricky__Spanish Amazing Magnus Eriksson Indeed. Slug_DC Does such a thing exist as a thin blacksmith? I think not. Zuxs13 I’ve seen this before this was a really amazing way of building this weapon. I want to get another master sword i would love one like this, Fred How much does he sell these for? Alienfish He also makes a buster sword, He-man’s sword, and a bunch of others. This guy is definitely worth watching. In the latest episode he forges the Meteor Sword from Avatar out of actual meteor chunks! Adam Porter doubt he made anything from meteor as that stuff goes for €1,000,000 a kilo Magnus Eriksson nah, thats overpriced… Alienfish Go ahead and watch it and decide for yourself. It looks legit and he said it cost him almost two grand for the materials. Noteak I still dont believe this, he didn’t even use actual diamonds for his minecraft diamond sword…. Alienfish I agree, that was total crap. He should have forged it completely out of diamond. Talk about a slacker. Anyway, check out this Game Theory video on the ridiculosities of diamond armor if it so interests you. http://youtu.be/8KuH0-994Hk Noteak I’ve already seen this… Adam Porter sorry my mistake apparently not all meteorite is valued the same, my estimation is based off meteorite at the highest end of the scale. Super Buu Forge the Monado, then we’ll talk. Nintendofreak or a ravager blade Sylux Do I get the girl with the sword as well? She May be my Zelda. If not just the sword will do 🙂 Looks perfect, a perfect match for the Master Sword. Adrian That was pretty awesome. I love this style of sword. Landonus That’s an insult to true blacksmithing. This is fabrication not forging. Luiz =O What’s the difference? Nintendofreak well when u blacksmith u basically just use fire, hammer n iron to make something…in other words a blacksmith gets metal heats it and beats it with a hammer until it turns in to whatever he wants to, this dude cuted out the form of the sword Andreas Sunde What’s wrong with making the job a little easier? Nintendofreak he is calling himself a blacksmith when he is a machine shop dude Luiz Oh, know I undestand. In a Video, he makes the meteorite sword from Avatar, and he uses a block of meteorite, watch it, please. That is forging? Nintendofreak well forging is shaping metal by compression so yeah he is forging the sword, example when he is beating it with the compressed air hammer, and doing the whole doubling the sheets and adding steel so yeah he was blacksmithing this time but when u cut stuff out like when he did the buster sword that is what machine shopper do ( they create tools, repair pistons and such) discuss Who cares it looks good and I want it … NOAW! Nintendofreak well it true but u have to admit being a blacksmith would support you Kalkeon Did anyone else notice he said ZELDAS Master sword? Nintendofreak I did i was like whaaat? Colt Lokk Maybe he meant Zelda’s Master Sword, as in the master sword from the Zelda franchise. That’s plausible. Ashley King It’s not surprising. The guy probably doesn’t play video games himself, he just got a bunch of requests to do the master sword and since the series is called Legend of Zelda, he assumed. Very sad man he could probably get quite a chunk of money for that, and if he made the sheath and hylian shield, he could get at least $5000 for the set, if not more Mario Now THAT is a true master sword! Linskarmo It’d be awesome if he made a Hylian Shield. Is the Master Sword for sale? XD I’d like it for some cosplay, but I doubt it’s school appropriate. Silent Watch Wii U daily post the same thing two months from now. Wiiluigi That is amazing! I need one of these! Andrew W Garttmeyer Hate the blue, but that was really awesome.
