binding-of-isaac-rebirth

The Binding of Isaac has a pretty storied history with Nintendo consoles. The game was rejected at first for the nature of its content, but after Nintendo expanded their policies, Nicalis helped Edmund McMillen bring the game to Wii U and 3DS owners.

Now that the Afterbirth expansion has released on Steam, the team at Nicalis started looking into porting it to other platforms. PS4 has been confirmed, but in a recent tweet the studio confirmed that the Wii U, 3DS, and PS Vita may all be too weak to handle the intense bullet hell nature of the game.

Rodriguez went further with his Wii U comments, stating that the Wii U is not much more powerful than the PS Vita.

That’s unfortunate for anyone with the affected systems, as everyone has a favorite way to play the game.
