If you’re the type of person who loves to buy game guides to get through longer games, then you’ll be excited to know that both Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors will be receiving hardcover guides from Prima Games in the United States. The books are currently available for pre-order from Amazon for around $29 a piece and will be available when each of the games goes on sale.

Hyrule Warriors is releasing on September 26 in North America, while Bayonetta 2 will be available some time in October. For those that want to make sure they get all the collectibles within a game, these strategy guides are usually pretty handy and look nice sitting on a coffee table to boot.

Will you be picking up either guide for the games? Let us know in the comments.

Well, I usually don’t pick guides, but I have decided to pick both games. A friend of mine has shown me the wonders of Bayonetta 😀

  • Andrew Gonzalez

I hope you’re still working on the page layout for the site.

    • Hey Andrew, WiiUDaily theme developer here, you’ll be happy to know we’ll be rolling out updates every hour until we get things just right! However, could you please elaborate on any specific issues you may be having?

      • Ducked

        It’s fixed!

      • Andrew Gonzalez

At the time of my comment the home page looked incomplete which was my only concern but other than that the site looks easy to navigate. I like the lower right ad that pops up by the way.

Is there or will the be an option to permanently disable the recommended for you option in this new interface? Feels too much like a spam that continually recommends articles I already read or dont intend to read. Annoying enough to put one away from this site for a while

    • Merry_Blind

      Agreed. I hate pop-ups.

    • Sdudyoy

That’s my only problem with the new layout, I hate pop ups.

    • jjbredesen

There is something called ad-block 😉 You ca chose what ads to block and not.

      • Sdudyoy

Well the problem is it isn’t a add, it’s a part of the new layout.

        • jjbredesen

Oh ok I am on mobile so i thought it was a normal pop up.

      • andrewjcole

Doesn’t fix it. It’s not exactly an “ad”.

  • Merry_Blind

    Shit’s getting real.

  • uPadWatcher

I’m buying BOTH when I get Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 (including the free Bayonetta HD).

  • Sdudyoy

I never buy guides, but I can see people buying this solely for the collectors aspect.

    • Daniel Gonzalez

Guides tend to have mistakes in them. Plus these days, you can find a walkthrough on just about anything.

    • Rinslowe

True. As a collectors guide/s it makes sense. Something worthy to have lying around the gaming lounge. Otherwise the internet is more accessible and affordable for most, I guess.

  • bistricky

Will be buying both of these hardcover guides …… because they are both Wii U exclusives.

    • Jon Turner

They’re even marketing it in Japan. Nice.

      • bistricky

Yeah it looks like they will be marketing Bayonetta 2 big time in Japan. I believe they think they have a hit title. I certainly hope it does well everywhere. Platinum deserves success and with it more games for the Wii U.

Ever since the internet, I don’t buy game guides any more. I remember the first Prima Guide I ever bought was for Tomb Raider on the original PSX back in late 96″ or early 97″. Good times. Good times.

  • anthony optimo

I really wish I would have bought the suikoden 1 and 2 guides. They kept their value and then some.

  • Andre Oord

Picking up neither guide with my cup of tea

Uhhh … Strategy for Hyrule Warriors …..Hack and Slash …That is all

    • A – Kuma

yeah, not like there are mission objectives and hidden items or something…
