Ubisoft has released another trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, this time focusing on the characters you’ll meet in the game. A bit more history is given about Edward Kenway, the game’s protagonist, as well as his quartermaster Adewale, a former slave gone pirate. While Edward is described as something of a loose cannon, Adewale is described as a man that tempers him. Also featured in the new trailer are two famous pirates who ruled the high seas, Blackbeard and Benjamin Hornigold. Both of them helped establish the pirate haven of Nassau, which features prominently in the game. The basic story of the game is laid down and relationships of the characters are hinted at, so if you’re a fan of the Assassin’s Creed games, you’ll want to check this out. Sdudyoy The trailer wasn’t there for me even after I refreshed it a couple of times when it did pop up I just edited my comment to say Nevermind. Daniel Gonzalez Ahh. I see. Mercurio2054 now is an album from nirvana. Sdudyoy I’m sorry but what does this have to do with anything? Mercurio2054 Nevermind, you can see the video now. Nevermind an almbum from Nirvana. Nevermind, i was just trolling. Daniel Gonzalez I’ll probably get this around the holidays. So far it’s looked impressive enough to me. Ashley King I’ve been a long time fan of the Assasin’s Creed series, though Assassin’s Creed 3 was certainly the worst of the bunch. I’m a bit of a history nut so I’m happy to see Ubisoft exploring the golden age of piracy as it’s one of the richest eras in history for “tall tales”. Shadriczo Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – October 29th in North America Pirates Week Festival 2K13 – November 9th in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. (I live here – Cayman Islands.) I’m feeling lucky, if you guys don’t know about this. Just Google up “Pirate’s Week Festival Cayman Islands”. Nintedward They need to set one in old England! Anytime in history would be cool! Ashley King I’m actually surprised they didn’t, considering Haytham Kenway was in London before coming to America in AC3. Daniel Gonzalez I think England still hates us after throwing their tea overboard over 200 years ago. Get over it! aldo2410 You just don’t throw overboard England’s tea, they will search you and your sons at least for 400 years Nintedward Indeed. Tea is the most valuable commodity here in England. English tea with milk and two sugars 😉 Daniel Gonzalez I don’t know, I felt the the third wasn’t that bad. I do agree that it is the worst of the bunch, but being a history nut myself, it kept my attention long enough for me to complete it. What did you not like about it? Kinda curious. Black Flag is certainly looking far better than 3. Who doesn’t love pirates? They’re at least cooler than the modern day ones. Ashley King The story itself wasn’t bad. I liked Haytham as a character. The actually mechanics of the game are what bothered me. The whole estate and doing the side quests and things that are normally required for completion in the Ezio games were completely optional in AC3. I didn’t even do one side quest and finished the game fine. Daniel Gonzalez Very good point. I didn’t really do many side quests. After I finished the game I didn’t feel the urged to replay it or finish it completely. I’m counting on Black Flag to change that. Mark The game itself was actually quite boring; attacking and killing was made so simple in this game that it got repetitive real fast. I do enjoy once in a while when I’m bored, but overall, i’d pick and play different game. Christopher Acuna It’s a side quest. Side quests should not be mandatory, that is why they are side quests. Merrfn Looks like it will be a good game. Big drought of games with a lot of complaining, now a flood with too much to buy. Nintendo have done a U-Turn, but they need more support. Daniel Gonzalez Third party support is still short, but it’s not as bad now. Of course, they still have more work to do. If only they could get the likes of Rockstar Games and Bethesda on board. That would be a huge improvement. Merrfn The Wii U is miles away from having adequate support, but the must have games Nintendo are getting and pumping out are good. Sydney Ultrasyd Can’t wait ! Currently playing AC III, I thought it wasn’t good at first, but damn, so many things to do in that game : ) Yaaaaaar ! Christopher Acuna I love AC3. The naval combat was my favorite part. MAKE READY!!!!! FIRE!!! lol…really got into those naval battles. The wife used to look at my funny. I still think the whole Animus crap is stupid and unnecessary, but I guess they have already invested to much time into that nonsense to just scrap it for good. lol Sydney Ultrasyd Yup, I don’t like that animus thing, and the part that takes place nowadays aldo2410 Another video, I think that this isn’t the way to hype peopple, they’re spoiling it so much, anyway I’m hyped for another pirate game The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. asdfg You do realize Nintendo also released a lot of videos for WWHD before it’s launch, right? aldo2410 But notevery week, and the game is just to be released. LopsidedPasta Drake and Morgan had better be in this game! Especially Drake discuss Pre-ordered. Looks totally awesome.
