Rise Of The Guardians Wii U release date
Another Wii U game has been given a November release date, indicating once again that Nintendo has set the Wii U release date for November 2012. Officially, Nintendo lists the release as “Fall 2012”. This time, publisher D3 announced the November release date for their upcoming ‘s Rise of The Guardians action adventure title. A few days ago, SEGA did something similar where they announced a November release date for Sonic & All-Stars Racing. A few months ago, Ubisoft did the same with Rayman Legends, announcing a November release date.

Rise of The Guardians is a movie tie-in video game for a movie of the same name, scheduled for release this Fall. The game will be released on the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and other consoles. Almost all rumors and sources so far have indicated a Wii U release date in November, and there’s no reason to believe otherwise: the previous Wii and GameCube consoles were both released in the month of November.

Prob’ly November 19th. The Wii was released on that day, right?

    • mkdhdh

yes around that time. so was the gamecube always the 2nd sunday of november i think

    • mac

i say november 18th since it is a sunday and people don’t have to work plus the wii came out on november 19th which was a sunday 6 years ago so i think they are going with a sunday release

    • Non-Specific Action Figure

theres a guy named Wii Uoops! Sucks

      • Meelow100

        November 18th, since that’s a Sunday.

The GameCube also released on November 18th.

      • Wii Uoops!

Are you saying I suck? My name isn’t saying the Wii U is a mistake, it’s like saying “Wii oops,” but more like “Wii U-ps.”

        • Matthewmc685

I must say I thought your name was bashing the Wii U at first but reading your comments I can see you’re not a troll. Also only a stupid troll would hate on Nintendo on a website full of Nintendo fans.

That would be like me going onto a My little pony fan base (not my thing but I’m not going to bash them) and trolling them, which would receive a lot of replies known as hate mail!

  • Mr. Will

This is starting to irk me. All signs point to November, but my local game store won’t take pre-orders until a date is officially announced

  • not.tendo

I used to love this site, but now it’s turning into a forum where off topic is seen as a tabu, I thought I had free speech, I hope this comment get published…

Nintendo isn’t dumb they know that a November release means sales, people get in hurry to give presents so…

  • Steventelation

Ok well now that it’s basically fact that the Wii U will release in November, it just makes me more anxious for it.

  • 3dsguy

I was really hoping october i hope they make enough for demand i could not get hold of a wii had to get off e bay for stupid price at launch and definitely need colour options i always buy at launch an end up with colour dont like and they bring limited edition 1’s after. launch buyers should get the limited edition consoles.

  • HudgPv247

    Why not earlier?? -_-

  • Ben

Yaay, if i save all my money from this point i will have enough for a console with game. (assuming it will be 250 for console and 50 for game or 300 for console with bundeled game.)

i think they really should startwith bundlegames and this sort of limited console’s (even if they just give you a sticker to place on the front so you can choose if you want it) It will give the console a quick start because you dant need to save for And a console And a game.

    • Alienfish

Don’t forget tax. Add at least $20 dollars to your total and you should be good to go. The games will probably be $60 for the bigger releases though.

  • Nintendo Defender #1

dont forget about the 64 released “holiday season”

  • swic11

I think November 18th as well because its a Sunday. This means that I have to go to my local Walmart and start waiting there at 12am on that Satruday. I will be more than happy to wait 24 hours to make sure that I get a Wii U on launch day.

    • Marq

I will be very happy if I walk into a store looking for one, and the person working there says Wii Us are out of stock because they’ve been flying off the shelves, along with the games.

      • joe

I am so with you, then we know they did it again….
I still will try to get one early though….I may actually pre order. I haven’t pre-ordered since the DreamCast…….

    • joe

I did that…I waited for Wii, closest I ever came to getting frostbite…It was one week after rls date, Best Buy..luck to have gotten one, some got none.
I have a wierd feeling there will be enough Wii U’s….not sure if it going to sell as fast….just a feeling…..

  • Enigmatic

Psh, Nintendo. Thinking that they can fool us.

  • SuperShyGuy

Well getting out before “Black Friday” would be ideal.

If I worked at Nintendo I would like bit of info from now until the release.

  • Wii UoopsSucks

This is sooooo amazing! Can’t wait for the Wii U.

  • AKA-Link77

Y must we always look at our presents before Christmas?

    • Alienfish

I’m hoping to play with mine! 😀

  • Colton

Will it release (if nov. 18) the night of nov. 18 or the night of nov. 17? Please tell!

    • Alienfish

If it releases on November 18th it will be at 12:00 a.m. So get in line on the 17th.

      • Colton

Ok, thanks. I won’t have to skip school after all!

  • Shankovich

I’m calling November 22nd or 20th…Nintendo seems to like doing (usually) big releases on Tuesday’s or Thursday’s I’ve noticed. Just a feeling really.

  • Britton

Ok… so if all these games are putting out the release date, then why the crap is Nintendo waiting on the console??? I want a price point really bad… I’m sick of rumors and guesses! We are roughly 4 months from rumored release date and still have no clue what the cost will be. If there is one thing I dislike about the Wii U its that it doesnt have a release date and price point. 🙂

    • gearchin

they could be fixing up the specs for release and or just waiting on more 3rd party stuff.

  • 3dsguy

agree need some info so i can get a deposit down and know how much i need to save up

  • UGotWongGuy

Nintendo could be holding off on an official date because they might be juggling the right “window” for sales, ensuring adequate systems are available, accommodate publishers to have more games at launch, and/or setting the all too important cost.

While history shows that mid-November is the most likely option, and launch titles are showing a similar trend, “holiday” leaves them a lot of room. Being mid July, there is 4 months to go until then, and I suspect that in a month or so, we will get a better idea, if Nintendo doesn’t outright come out and say it.

All I have to say is that I hope they have both white and black consoles at launch at least.

  • videogamer1

the U system is totally incredible beyond words with its tablet controller called the GAMEPAD!!!!! Its launch list is awesome!!! i’m glad that all the games aren’t like te X360 & PS3 pricewise–that shows variety and flexibilty that not all games will be $60.

  • fatema

  • Jed

My guess is 11/11/12. The games will stay the same price. Some games are going multiplatform, they’d get more sales sticking with 49.99
