Nintendo doesn't need 3rd parties, says Stardock CEO Earthlock backers will get Switch version if it ever happens Zelda: Breath of the Wild Deluxe guide for $48 on Amazon Rugmouse The Wonderful 101 at $24 is an absolute steal. If you haven’t played this game, there’s no excuse now…BUY IT. It was by far my GOTY for 2013, and is better than anything I played on PS3. And that’s saying something… GregoryTheRainMaker True. Assassinated23 Thinking I might pick that one up. Dan I didn’t like the demo very much. There was too much going on at once and it was never really intuitive as to which formation was needed at which time. Was it just a bad demo like Monster Hunter 4? Or is this game just not for me? I was pretty excited for it until playing through the demo. Rugmouse I’ve heard many people really disliked the demo, but thoroughly enjoyed the actual game over on the Wiiuforums. As you play, you progressively learn new abilities that adds depth to the combat – and a ton of it at that. The demo just kind of threw you in there with no context. Plus, when you get the story to go along with the inventive gameplay, you are left with a truly memorable experience. The characters are hilarious, and the game is actually quite lengthy for this genre. That being said, I enjoyed the demo as well, and I already stated this is my favorite game in some time…perhaps someone else could give you better (or less biased) insight. Dan Thanks Rugmouse. Perhaps it’s worth a second look for under $25. vatolio I had the same experience with the demo. I tried it out for about 30 min and was just lost. I thought the premise was cool, but like Rugmouse mentioned, with no context, it just didn’t seem any fun. I ended up getting it last month and it freaking blew me away! The story is silly, but I like silly sometimes. The gameplay is top notch. It does take a few tries to get some of the drawings down, especially with the controller instead of manually drawing on the gamepad. I do recommend using the controller as drawing on the pad can slow down the action. Once you get into some of the boss battles, then you finally appreciate the love put into this game. The silly stuff turns epic, and the gameplay is a mad house of fun. Highly recommend, and at $24, it’s a steal. AceRuby Yea its much better to play the actual game then the demo as the demo doesn’t explain as well the controls like the actual game does. If you like action games Wonderful 101 is well worth the buy. Captinn2 People, YOU NEED to buy the Wonderful 101. If you consider yourself hardcore, wait until you play this game on Normal mode. This game will kick your ass. Ken Seymour I was tempted but chose Black Flag instead 🙂 BIG Franky how did you miss Zelda Windwaker HD for Wii U on amazon for $34!!! awesome deal! http://www.amazon.com/The-Legend-Zelda-nintendo-wii-u/dp/B002I0GF72/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1GRWQKCCBI7AR Ashley King Snap, thanks! I’ll edit to add. 🙂 Ah the shipping is crap on that one. Blah. Dan ya, that one is not shipped and sold from Amazon like the rest Ashley posted. Amazon price is $46.46 for Windwaker. Not really a deal unfortunately. 🙁 andrewjcole Wii Party U is a great deal. It’s like buying a Wii remote with a free game. Ben Kapferer I would get it at that price, but I already have four Wii Remotes. I don’t need a fifth one. AceRuby Agreed its pretty much a free game with a remote for that price well worth it if you need a new remote. Elitepwnsface Still no Super Mario world U sales…. Might as well wait till i see one Wishsong214 Thank you for this. Ordered Wonderful 101. It’s sadly out of stock at the moment, but I don’t have immediate time to play it anyway. Ducked Assassins Creed IV is also on sale for $29.99 at GameStop in the US. And Splinter Cell Blacklist is on sale for $19.99 at GameStop US as well. Zorpix Really considering hopping on Scribblenauts Ducked I might pick up Sonic Lost World Justin Carlson Picked up Wii Party U to play with my family. Sonic Lost world is also tempting at $30. AceRuby Sonic is very worth it at $30 some people hate it but honestly I thought it was still a pretty solid platformer you just have to get used to the new way of running and spin dashing in the game really. Guest Just sold my excess collector’s editions of kingdom hearts 3DS to my local game store, so I’m gonna have plenty of cash to spend on these games. Gordon Tillett I picked up Wonderful 101 for $29.99 last week. What a steal. Jon the last sale… AC IV was $34.99… which I bought then 🙁 Cold Heat lol @ only 1 of the 5 games pictured actually getting mentioned in the article….
