Nintendo has announced that the Super Mario 3D World soundtrack is now available as one of the Club Nintendo rewards for Europe. If you played the game and found yourself enjoying the music, you can pick up the soundtrack for a whopping 3000 stars. It’s one of the most expensive items on Club Nintendo both for North America and Europe, but it contains 77 tracks in a two disc collection.

There’s no telling if this soundtrack collection will eventually become available on the North American Club Nintendo page, since the rewards are usually kept pretty separate.

What is the equivalent of 3000 stars to coins for US? I would buy new hardware just to be able to take advantage of this. We need this in the States, so jealous.

    • Googs

      3000 stars is quite a bit, 3DS & Wii U games give you 250 stars. Wii U hardware gives you 1000 stars a 3DS 750 stars & a 2DS 500 stars.

    • I have the platinum Soundtrack from Super Mario Galaxy which was 4500 stars, it’s definitely worth the stars but yeah, it’s a lot indeed but the 3000 although less it’s still insane.

I just checked and here in Australia it’s 2000 stars, however WiiU registration is only 500 here. I finally got around to creating my account a couple of days ago and got 3800 stars for my WiiU, 4 Wii games and 9 WiiU games.

      • Just ordered mine from Club Nintendo Australia, I missed out on the Luigi coin but I’ve at least got this awesome soundtrack, we usually get nothing!

        • K_Locker

Do we ever get VC games here? I’ve never looked before and I don’t know whether to wait or jump on one of these CD’s.

          • Hardly if ever, not that I’ve ever noticed anyway.

If I’m doing the math right, it’s about 720 North American coins. They’ve said you get 250 stars per game (we get 60). So it would take 12 250-star games to get to 3000 and 12×60=720. Does that sound right?

      • steveb944

        Yup, that’s a lot.

      • alex toschi

it’s probably going to be 750-800. Nintendo would probably round up on us :p

  • Spingebill Master of Darkness

    This is getting very intresting………

  • Kevin Sepulveda

If I were to wager, they will make this CD available as an elite reward later this year Stateside. (*fingers crossed*)

In a few years, this will be the next Stadium Events.

  • Sdudyoy

I loved the soundtrack for this game, I would get this if I lived in Europe.

  • Lusunup

We bever get good shit… -_-(Ameruca!)

  • greengecko007

Good for them, it’s a very cool reward. In fact, if it’s not an award for Gold or at least Platinum members for this year, I will be quite upset.

  • Relick

Time to break out the club nintendo cards!

  • Squid

Why does the UK get all the cool stuff, you got Pokebank first, those. Pikmin Keychains, and now this.

    • K_Locker

Funny, I went to all the trouble of creating my account and inputting 13 pin codes a few days ago, just because it came to my attention that Super Mario World was available, only to find out it’s not available here in Australia, only US. We get the European stuff. I guess this CD might have to do.

  • X3Charlie

I don’t know why they don’t just sell all their music on itunes or their own music app. I’m sure plenty of people wouldn’t mind buying some of it. It’s good music.
